Our individual intervention services help each child reach his/her maximum potential.
Learning
ABA services are provided by highly qualified staff. Following an assessment process, an individualized plan is developed to build on a child’s strengths and focus on the core areas of autism. Behavioral challenges are addressed by teaching appropriate, replacement behaviors identified through a functional behavior assessment and the development of a non-aversive behavior support plan.
Laughing
Depending on the needs of the child, we teach primarily through a combination of play, daily routines, and academic tasks. ABA embeds learning trials in fun and motivating activities which are not breaks in our sessions but the context for learning.
Living
Rather than a clinical setting, we believe that children learn best in the real world. Our sessions are integrated into a child’s natural environments of home, school and the community. We teach about animals at the zoo, practice play skills at the park, and develop a love of learning at the library.
